The Importance of waiting to “mate”

The New Rules/NYMR’s Book states that we live in a sex culture. It’s true! Everywhere you look or go – you’re being sold sex consciously and subconsciously. For example, perfume commercials/adverts these days are very much sexualized. Right down to even shampoo advertisements. Although you are bombarded with sexual content on a regular basis, as a Rulesgirl you still don’t jump into bed with a man too quickly.

You take your time because the slower you pace the relationship the better! Why is it important to wait to sleep with a man? There are many reasons why but due to time constraints, I’ll discuss the main reasons here: Firstly, you want to see who he really is and be sure he is who he appears to be, before you give him something precious. Secondly, you want to be sure he loves you before you sleep with him. You sleep with a man once you know he loves you and has proven it consistently over a substantial period of time. You never give a man the ultimate treat when he’s done nothing or very little to have you!

Finally, it also has to do with how you feel about him and when you are certain that he is Mr Right. The powerful Oxytocin hormone plays a huge role in our bonding with men. We are made up very differently from men. We are different mentally, chemically/hormonally, physically and emotionally. The effects of Oxytocin also last a long time, so if you are bonded / sleep with a man, you will be chemically bonded and attached to this man. Therefore, if you sleep with a man too soon and he is also Mr Wrong, you will experience pain and complete hell. That’s a dangerous thing for any woman alive. Follow The Rules so you won’t experience pain and hell on earth. The Rules weed out Mr Wrong and Capture only the heart of Mr Right(s) (i.e., you can have two or three Mr Rights in a life time if you are lucky - If you are, thank your blessed stars/universe or God). As Sherrie Schneider says: “The Rules are man pain proof protection!”
