Client Share: How Do I Keep Going and Motivating Myself To Do The Rules?

Recently I had a client explain that she was having some doubts and down feelings about doing the rules, including a lack of motivation for continuing to do them.

I strongly recommended that she purchase The Rules Dating Journal by Ellen Fein and Sherrie Schneider. This journal is a great resource. It helps you to identify any negative patterns from the past that are possibly affecting the way you currently date. It enables you to date better if followed weekly and accompanied with self discipline. It was important for my client to journal to also think about how she dated in the past and to rewrite painful experiences or behaviors that caused the ending of a "relationship" so that she could as Ellen and Sherrie say strengthen her resolve in doing The Rules.
